Mel B looked lovely in her little black dress at the PRISM Awards in Los Angeles on Thursday.

The 40-year-old actress and singer cloaked her enviable figure in a cap sleeve frock as she led a pack of A-list beauties in black including Katie Cassidy, Ever Carradine, and Mira Sorvino.

The America's Got Talent panelist showed off her black bra through her lace mesh detailing for an added sex appeal.

Mel B displayed her toned arms in a knee-length mini dress which also accentuated her lean legs.

The former Spice Girls member was styled with silver accessories including a pair of strappy slingbacks and small clutch.

The mother-of-three slicked back her long tresses in a sleek ponytail and showcased her flawless complexion which was accented with minimal makeup.

The PRISM Awards recognize writers, producers, directors, musicians, actors and actresses for their authentic storytelling of mental illness and substance use issues.

It is a nationally-televised showcase recognizing the accurate depiction of substance abuse and mental illness: prevention, treatment and recovery in film, television, interactive, music, DVD, and comic book entertainment. Established in 1997, the PRISM Awards honor productions that are not only powerfully entertaining, but realistically show substance abuse and addiction, as well as mental health issues.

They encourage creators to make the most of their rights to free creative expression, while at the same time showing the reality of these health issues

The star has been dogged by rumours her marriage to Stephen is on the rocks, and they've responded by putting on PDAs while out and about.

She married the film producer in Las Vegas in 2007, and they have daughter Madison together - who turns four in September.

Marriage trouble rumours started when Mel shocked British viewers by appearing on The X Factor on December 14 last year with what appeared to be scratches and bruising to her arms and face.

Mel's wedding ring was also missing from her hand when she appeared on the ITV show.

Shortly after, Stephen slammed speculation from fans of Mel's on Twitter that he had hit her, telling MailOnline, 'You can only re-mix ten things, ten ways, so many times.

The couple share three-year-old daughter Madison and she is also mum to Phoenix Chi, 16, and Angel, eight, whose father is actor Eddie Murphy.
