Justin Bieber shows off cupping marks as he poses shirtless and insists he is happily single in Interview magazine

He was recently seen sporting cupping marks all over his torso during a recent trip to Australia.

And now Justin Bieber is showing off the markings in a new shirtless photoshoot for Interview magazine.

The 21-year-old singer - who last week apologised for posting a nude photograph on his Instagram account, is seen in a series of brooding snaps for the magazine.

In having the cupping therapy, Bieber joined a long line of clean living celebrities such as Victoria Beckham, Jennifer Aniston and Gwyneth Paltrow.

Dating back 5,000 years, the therapy is a form of acupuncture, and is based on the idea that suction from the cups draws the skin up and mobilises blood and energy around the body.

During the interview, Bieber talked about his new album - which he is currently working on with Skrillex and Diplo - as well as his love life, insisting he was single.

Bieber - who has half-siblings Jasmyn, six, and Jaxon, five, from a relationship of his father Jeremy's - is currently single and focusing his attention on his family, he told Martha Stewart, who was conducting the interview.

He said: '[I have] no girlfriend at the moment, no. I'm single.

'My love? My love today is my little brother. He's staying with me for the next week. So he's my love right now.'

When he is dating, the Boyfriend hitmaker - who previously had an on/off relationship with Selena Gomez and has been romantically linked with Hailey Baldwin - likes cooking breakfast for his girlfriends.

He added: 'I cook breakfast, and that's pretty much it. For myself or if I have a girl. I made breakfast for my little brother the other day, some eggs, pancakes, and bacon. Simple. '

However, Justin isn't worried too much about his single status and feels very 'lucky'.

After Martha told him she though 'every girl in America' wants him and he has 'too many girlfriends' to choose from, he replied: 'I think so, too. I'm a pretty lucky guy.'
