Her spats with fellow Real Housewives of NYC Bethenny Frankel have dominated the series.

But Heather Thomson has reportedly said enough is enough and quit the Bravo series.

The RHONYC star has called time on her role in the show, according to Us, after three seasons.

The magazine claims that a source close to the Bravo soap confirmed the news in the latest issue, revealing that the budding businesswoman wants to spend more time working on her business and spending time with her family.

The source reportedly told them: 'She wants to focus full-time on her business, Yummie, her family, and expanding into the health and nutrition arena.

'The cons of doing the show far outweigh the pros at this point, and what the show has become don't fit what she wants to be doing. She did it to promote her business and it devolved into ridiculous fights over the ridiculous antics of some unstable women.'

Heather founded shapewear company Yummie, which manufactures body-shaping jeans and tops and has estimated retail sales of around $60 million.

However, she reportedly thinks it's time to step away from the drama with her co-stars on the show.

Last week she was embroiled in one of the raciest scandals to hit the show.

During the ladies' vacation in Turks and Caicos, Ramona Singer and Luann de Lesseps both brought men back to spend the night - with at least one of the men being married.

Heather Thomson and Carole Radziwill completely freaked out after finding one of the men naked in bed in the room connected to their own room, insisting it put them at risk.

'Who knows what he was doing - he could've been looking at us while we were sleeping,' Heather told Carole, telling her to also check that none of her valuables were missing.

She rebuked her co-stars, adding later: 'If she sent him up here with blue balls he could have spanked his monkey looking at us.'

Us reports that they source told them: 'She [Heather] did the show to promote her business and later to be with her best friend, Carole Radziwill, and didn't expect it to end up with fighting with Bethenny and Sonja [Morgan] and the rest edited out,'

'It is no longer a good fit with where she sees her life going so she is making the choice to walk away.'
