She's soldiering on while in the midst of a split from her boyfriend of nine years Scott Disick.

But Kourtney Kardashian cut a notably solemn figure as she stepped out in Los Angeles with two of her three children on Thursday.

The 36-year-old reality TV star failed to raise a smile as she took her son Mason, five and seven-month-old son Reign out in the sunshine.

Not seemingly present on the little excursion was Kourtney and Scott's daughter Penelope, three.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star still managed to look stylish in her casual garb, though, sporting a pair of pale blue and white striped skinny jeans and a loose-fitting denim shirt.

She finished her off-duty look with a pair of lace-up trainers, with her raven tresses swept back from her pretty face in a sleek utilitarian ponytail.

Her appearance comes as it has been reported that she feels 'sick to her stomach' at the thought of taking back 32-year-old Scott - the father of her three children.

Speaking to People about how fed up she is with his relentless party hard lifestyle, a source explained: 'Kourtney is so upset with Scott right now that the thought of taking him back makes her sick to her stomach,'

'He crossed the line for the last time, and there's no turning back.'

The insider added: 'Kourtney is devastated, but more angry than hurt. She is seriously turned off just by the thought of him.'

Kourtney kicked Scott, with whom she had been in a relationship for nine years, to the kerb last week amid reports she had tired of his partying ways.

It's also thought that the split was down to pictures emerging of her partner looking very cosy with his reported ex-girlfriend Chloe Bartoli, a stylist, in Monte Carlo, France.

While Lord Disick, as he likes to call himself, was sunning himself in Europe and partying with pals, Kourtney was back in California looking after their brood.

On Thursday last week, he moved out of the family home in Calabasas.

The close-knit reality TV family are rallying around Kourtney in her difficult time, with her mother Kris Jenner, 59, reportedly urging her not to take Scott back.

Even Kanye West - Kim Kardashian's husband - is upset over Scott's actions, telling the New York native to 'man up and go to rehab,' according to Us Weekly.

Kardashian is said to be more angry and disappointed than sad: 'She has been let down by Scott many times. But this time, she's done.'

On Wednesday, Kourtney put on a brave face as she joined her family at the ESPY Awards to honour her step-father Caitlyn Jenner, as she picked up the Arthur Ashe Courage Award following her gender transition.

Meanwhile, as Kourtney stepped out with her children on Thursday, father-of-three Scott certainly didn't seem too cut up about the end of their romance as a bevy of scantily clad beauties were spotted at his Beverly Hills bachelor pad.

Blondes in heels and denim hotpants were joined by a brunette with a backless lace top and another dark-haired mystery woman wearing just a robe.

While there was no sign of Scott, photographers said the women were greeted by one of his friends and taken inside.
