It's over... AGAIN! Timbaland's wife Monique Mosley files for divorce for second time in two years

Timbaland has been served with divorce papers for the second time in less than two years by his wife Monique Mosley.

The 43-year-old rapper and producer married Monique in June 2008 after welcoming their seven-year-old daughter Reign in November 2007.

Monique filed the divorce petition on June 22 in a Florida court seeking to end their marriage, according to an article on Thursday by Us Weekly.

Timbaland, real name Timothy Mosley, and Monique work together on the hit Fox show Empire where he is the show's music producer while she's a fashion stylist.

Monique in October 2013 filed for divorce for the first time, and asked for alimony and child support for Reign as well as for her son Demetrius, 12, from a previous relationship.

In her previous divorce petition Monique also requested life insurance, money for private schooling, summer camp and vacations.

The couple reconciled the following year and the divorce proceedings were dropped.

Timbaland has been a fixture on the music scene since the mid-1990s and has worked with many of the music industry's biggest stars, including Justin Timberlake, Nelly Furtado, Jay-Z, Bjork, 50-Cent, Ginuwine and the late Aaliyah.

The record producer has a net worth estimated at $85 million, according to the website Celebrity Net Worth.

Timbaland was spotted last month at a BET Awards after party in Los Angeles along with boxer Floyd Mayweather.

He was portrayed by Izaak Smith in November in the Lifetime biopic Aaliyah: The Princess Of R&B .

Timbaland and his team including songwriter and producer Jim Beanz crafted original music for the first season of Empire based on the show's plot points.

Fox announced in May that Ne-Yo would join Timbaland in writing music for the show's second season.
