Snubbed! Big Bang Theory, Lena Dunham, Sofia Vergara and Jane Fonda are left OUT of the 67th Annual Emmy Award nominations
- The Big Bang Theory was not nominated nor was its star Jim Parsons
- Sofia Vergara didn't get a nod for Modern Family but two of her co-stars did
- Jane Fonda was overlooked for Grace And Frankie but Lily Tomlin wasn't
- Gina Rodriguez and Jane The Virgin were shut out completely
- None of the Girls got recognized but the show's male actor Adam Driver was singled out
Game Of Thrones swept the 67th Annual Emmy Award nominations with 24 nods when Cat Deeley and Uzo Aduba read the list of nominees from the Pacific Design Center in LA on Thursday.
But not everyone did as well. In fact, several favorites were left out.
The Big Bang Theory, which is a ratings dynamo, did not get a nod and neither did its star Jim Parsons, who has picked up four Emmys in the past (and has been nominated a total of seven times). Kaley Cuoco was left off the list too. Instead, only Mayim Bialik got a nod in the Best Supporting Actress category.

No love here: The Big Bang Theory did not receive an Emmy nomination when the nods were announced for the 67th Annual Emmy Awards on Thursday morning
No Bang: Kaley Cuoco (left) was left off the list as was Jim Parsons (right), who has picked up four Emmys in the past (and has been nominated a total of seven times)
Also left out was Sofia Vergara, 43, for her turn on Modern Family.
Though Vergara is not known as the critical darling of Modern Family, it was thought that she might be recognized this year.
Instead, the women who landed in the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy category were Edie Falco for Nurse Jackie, Lisa Kudrow for The Comeback, Julia Louis-Dreyfus for Veep, Amy Poehler for Parks And Recreation, Amy Schumer for Inside Amy Schumer and Lily Tomlin, Grace And Frankie.
Nada: Also left out was Sofia Vergara for her turn on Modern Family. Though Vergara is not known as the critical darling of Modern Family, it was thought that she might be recognized this year
Look pretty in lace with Sofia's Dolce and Gabbana dress

Seeing as she's engaged to one of the stars of the movie, Sofia Vergara wearing white lace to the Magic Mike Premiere was actually totally appropriate.
Perhaps giving us a little glimpse into her bridal style, the Modern Family actress looked stunning in her signature look of tight fitting strapless dress and sky high heels. Sofia's dress is from Dolce and Gabbana and features a soft cupped bust, midi bodycon shape and delicate floral lace all over. It's both pretty and sexy all at the same time.
Unfortunately, the exact dress is sold out, hashtag sad face.
Alternatively for a cream lace number of your own that doesn't break the bank, there's plenty of options on the high street, from lace sheath at 6pm to a chic bodycon number at Nordstrom. Our favorite has to be the Diane Von Fustenberg version at Farfetch,it's a spitting image for Sofia's and in a gorgeous delicate pink color.
The show got a nod as well and so did... : Vergara's co-star Julien Bowen did get acknowledged in the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy category and so did Ty Burell in the Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy category
Vergara's co-star Julien Bowen did get acknowledged, however, in the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy category.
In addition to Bowen, Niecy Nash got a nod for Getting On as did Allison Janney for Mom, Kate McKinnon for Saturday Night Live, Mayim Bialik for The Big Bang Theory, Gaby Hoffmann for Transparent, Jane Krakowski for Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and Anna Chlumsky for Veep.
Bowen was not the only Modern Family star who got love.
Nope: It was also a surprise that Lena Dunham was not recognized for her work on Girls. Neither she nor her series was nominated; here she is seen on Monday at the Lincoln Center in NYC
He got some love: Girls' Adam Driver (far left) got a nod; he is starring in December's highly anticipated Star Wars, Episode VII - The Force Awakens; here he is seen at Comic-Con with Domhnall Gleeson and Gwendoline Christie
Ty Burrell also got recognized in the Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy category.
And the series got nominated as well in the Outstanding Comedy Series category.
It was also a surprise that Lena Dunham was not recognized for her work on Girls.
Neither she nor her series was nominated.
And why not? Jane Fonda did not get singled out for hew new hit show Grace And Frankie; here she is pictured in May
Uh-oh: The legend's co-star Lily Tomlin got a nod instead; here they are seen in a scene still from their hit series
But Driver was singled out in the Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy category.
Driver is starring in December's highly anticipated Star Wars, Episode VII - The Force Awakens.
Jane Fonda did not get singled out for hew new hit show Grace And Frankie (co-star Lily Tomlin got a nod instead).
Also snubbed were Melissa McCarthy for Mike & Molly, Julianna Margulies for The Good Wife, Gina Rodriguez for Jane the Virgin, Taylor Schilling for Orange Is the New Black, Kerry Washington for Scandal, Michelle Dockery for Downton Abbey, Jon Voight for Ray Donovan.
Looked over: Melissa McCarthy was not applauded for her work on Mike & Molly; here she is seen at the Spy premiere on June 1 in NYC
Shunned: Gina Rodriguez's series Jane The Virgin was left off the list of nominees
Must be a shock: Rodriguez, seen here in May, was predicted to be nominated for an Emmy because she won a Golden Globe earlier this year
There was also Charlie Hunnam for Sons of Anarchy, Eva Green for Penny Dreadful, Mandy Patinkin for Homeland, Sam Heughan for Outlander, Kate Mulgrew for Orange Is the New Black, Lizzy Caplan for Masters Of Sex and Mae Whitman for Parenthood. Neither Timothy Olyphant nor Natalie Zea got singled out for Justified.
As far as shows, Empire, The Leftovers, Jane The Virgin, Justified and The Americans did not get nods either.
The 67th Primetime Emmy Awards will air on the FOX network on September 20. Andy Samberg of Brooklyn Nine-Nine will host the show.
Not a part of the day: Julianne Margulies, seen here with Michael J Fox, was not given a nod for The Good Wife, but her co-stars Christine Baranski and Alan Cumming were named
