Bobby Brown and his wife Alicia Ethridge take inspiration from Buddhism as they 'name their newborn daughter Bodhi'

Bobby Brown and his wife have named their daughter Bodhi, according to reports.

TMZ claims that the couple, who welcomed their baby girl into the world on July 9, have named their bundle of joy Bodhi Jameson Rein Brown.

Alicia, who is also mother to the couple’s five-year-old son Cassius, was induced at Cedars Sinai hospital in Los Angeles.

Bodhi means awakened, and is the word used in Buddhism for the understanding a Buddha has of the nature of things. It is sometimes translated to English as 'enlightenment'.

Bobby - who married Alicia in 2012- has a total of six children, including Bobbi Kristina with late ex-wife Whitney Houston.

Thee birth of his daughter was a rare bit of good news for Brown, as his daughter with late ex-wife Whitney Houston, Bobbi Kristina, entered her third week at an Atlanta-area hospice care center.

Bobbi Kristina, 22, was recently moved to a hospice in Georgia, for what it is claimed will be her 'final days' and on Wednesday a hearse was seen backing into a tent that was mysteriously erected outside the hospice center.

The hearse showed up soon after the tent appeared at the back door of Peachtree Christian Hospice and after Brown's loved ones including aunt and guardian Pat Houston arrived to the center outside Atlanta.

Photos show the black vehicle backing into the unexplained tent, which blocked views from all angles of what was inside.

The 22-year-old's family did not comment on her condition as the photos emerged Wednesday, nor would Peachtree Christian reveal the reasons behind erecting the tent.

Loved ones who showed up Wednesday to the hospice center included Whitney Houston's former bodyguard Ray Watson, who arrived looking somber and spent over 30 minutes alone in his car after his visit to his late boss's daughter.

Bobby Brown's brother Tommy also arrived for a visit Wednesday along with other Houston and Brown family members.

Tragedy: Bobbi Kristina was originally placed into a medically induced coma after the horrific discovery in circumstances eerily reminiscent of her mother's death

Bobbi Kristina was originally placed into a medically induced coma after the horrific discovery in circumstances eerily reminiscent of her mother's death.

The tragedy has clearly taken its toll on her dad as Bobby, 46, was seen taking a break from caring for his daughter on last week to enjoy a lunch in Beverly Hills with pregnant Etheridge.

On July 7, Entertainment Tonight revealed they'd been offered an unlawfully taken image of Bobbi Kristina on her death bed for a price in excess of $100,000.

However, the news show declined the offer, deeming the photo 'unseemly'. Other outlets had a similar response.

Brown performed at the Affordable Old School Concert series in Atlanta on Saturday, July 4, where the 46-year-old singer repeatedly apologized to the audience as he stumbled through the set and forgot lyrics and dance moves, TMZ reported.

In a video taken at the gig, the singer can be heard telling the crowd: 'I'm in a different zone.'

And in a recent interview with Fox News, a source close to the family said relatives have been 'beefing up' security and law enforcement over fears Bobbi Kristina's death is 'imminent'.

'She barely has any signs of life, hardly any vitals, the source told the news station. 'Even law enforcement have been called because the families have been told that death is now imminent.

'They want to make sure photographers don't get pictures of her body being removed.'
