He recently admitted he will always love ex-girlfriend Gigi Hadid.

But despite still holding a burning candle for his former flame, Cody Simpson insists there isn't any 'bad blood' between himself, the 20-year-old model and her new boyfriend Joe Jonas.

Asked how he feels about their new romance, Cody told E! News: 'I'm sort of impartial to the whole thing and try to remain nice to everyone and not cause any bad blood or anything.'

The 18-year-old singer was left heartbroken earlier this summer when his relationship with Gigi, whom he had been dating on and off for two years, came to an end for the second time.

Cody and the model announced their split via a joint statement in May, claiming that their jam-packed schedules had played a vital role in their decision to go their separate ways.

A few weeks later, Gigi - the daughter of Yolanda Foster - was rumoured to be dating Joe, 25, after the pair were spotted holding hands while out and about in New York City.

The romance whispers were confirmed recently by Gigi's pal Karlie Kloss, and the couple have been letting loose with their public display of affection ever since.

The news that Gigi is now dating someone new surely came as a blow to Cody as he admitted earlier this week that he still has feelings for the model of the moment

He told Dujour Magazine: 'I love my ex-girlfriend, I always will.'

No doubt heartbroken by the current situation, Cody is doing his best to move on and has been throwing himself into his music and work projects to help him deal with the split.
