They seem to have well and truly hit it off as a panel, colleagues and friends.

And on Thursday, the new line-up of X Factor judges appeared to have bonded for good, as they posed for the first selfie of all of them together.

Shared by new judge Rita Ora on her Instagram page, it shows her beaming widely alongside Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, Nick Grimshaw and Simon Cowell.

Along with the fun snap, taken in front of the thousands of audience members at Wembley arena, the 24-year-old singer wrote: 'This is by far the best Simon Cowell photograph of all time. Gotta love him. Great auditions today London! See you tomorrow! @cherylofficial @nicholasgrimshaw.'

Cheryl, 32, then proceeded to repost the image on her own page, adding with glee: 'I am crying.'

Not present in the silly snap - which saw them all, apart from head judge Simon, 55, bearing their perfect white teeth - were new presenters Caroline Flack and Olly Murs.

However, a couple of members from the crowd manage to sneak their way into the back, poking their heads up behind the stars of the show.

Ready! Earlier in the day, Nick had given a sneak peek of the behind the scenes area in a silly snap with him and Rita

It marks the first proper self-taken image of all four of them together, and will no doubt give fans of the ITV talent show a good feeling about the forthcoming series.

Earlier in the day, radio DJ Nick, 30, had shared a pre-audition picture of himself and Rita on his own page, adding: 'here we go....day 1 in London.'

This year's new line-up made their X Factor auditions debut last week when auditions kicked off in Manchester, and Thursday saw them continuing with the first round in London.
