A 34-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder after being apprehended on a golf course in Worthing, Sussex, three miles away from where 79-year-old Don Lock was stabbed to death on Thursday evening. It comes as more touching tributes were left at the scene where Mr Lock was killed - including one from his son which reads 'we will always look up to you'. Andrew Lock, 48, spoke for the first time today in an emotional tribute that saw him holding back tears (inset). He said his father was 'full of wisdom, full of wit, always calm, always supportive and a perfect role model full of charm'. Police have been granted an extra 24 hours to continue questioning the arrested man over the murder of the keen cyclist, whose wounds were so horrific an eyewitness said he was probably 'dead before he hit the ground'.

The Nairobi shopping mall was almost entirely destroyed during the four-day siege in September 2013 (soldiers pictured, inset), but has now been entirely rebuilt and is back open for business. and today thousands of people turned up (top right) - showing, the city's governor claimed, the resilience of Kenyans against these attacks. However, security at the mall has been stepped up, with heavily armed guards patrolling (left), metal detectors (bottom right) and bollards to prevent car bombs.
