She's made a living out of her stunning looks and naturally striking features.

And Alessandra Ambrosio showcased her model beauty in all its glory as she went make-up free while hitting the grocery story with her six-year-old daughter, Anja, in Santa Monica, California, on Thursday.

The 34-year-old Victoria's Secret Angel went bare-faced for her day of running errands, giving her complexion a break as she stocked up at Pavilions supermarket.

The Brazilian beauty chose to conceal her incredible model figure in a pretty pink and purple printed halterneck maxi dress.

Alessandra teamed the comfortable outfit with a pair of studded flat sandals and offset the vivid garment with an electric blue fringed shoulder bag.

The mother-of-two wore her luscious locks down and flowing over her shoulders with two small front sections pinned back.

The catwalk queen hid her face behind a pair of rounded sunglasses as she headed inside, before emerging with a huge trolley of goods.

Alessandra snapped back to the reality of everyday tasks after enjoying a family holiday to her home country, Brazil, earlier this week.

While on vacation with her businessman fiancé Jamie Mazur and their two children - Anja and three-year-old son Noah - the mother-of-two showcased her impressively toned bikini body on many a beach day out.

The professional clotheshorse also found time to make a guest appearance on Brazilian soap opera Verdades Secretas while back home.

Although Alessandra's had a handful of cameos - including Gossip Girl and How I Met Your Mother - she's soon set to make her acting debut in the upcoming sequel to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

She plays Vern Fenwick's (Will Arnett) girlfriend and stars alongside Megan Fox in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Half Shell which is being filmed now and is due for release in June 2016.
