Her super slender frame has been hitting the headlines in recent weeks.

However, after another gaunt appearance at The X Factor auditions in London on Thursday, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini has conceded she is too small and is trying to gain weight.

The pop star, 32, has lost a lot of weight in recent months after her father-in-law passed away and an impostor posing as her PA.

Conceding 'stress' has made her lose weight, Cheryl insisted she is 'eating lots' backstage at the X Factor in a bid to bulk up.

She admitted the attention on her slim frame had been hurtful, telling The Sun: 'It's not nice, but there are people out there going through similar things to me, it hurts them.'

Cheryl's thin shape was the talk of the town when The X Factor auditions kicked off in Manchester last week.

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini is looking thin these days. The little lady lost weight due to stress BUT all is well folks, she says she's working on getting her curves back. Milkshakes and burgers will do the trick!

Cheryl didn't let her stress get the best of her. The X-Factor judge wore a multicolored scalloped a-line mini dress. She paired her pink, white, red and black dress with a black pair of Gucci horsebit loafer pumps.
