She's a busy working mother with two children.

But Ali Larter managed to carve out some time for herself on Thursday as she enjoyed a solo shopping trip to upmarket clothing store Fred Segal in West Hollywood.

The 39-year-old has already shed all the extra pregnancy pounds she put on having baby Vivienne, who is now six months old.

And the blonde showed off her slender figure in a summer white white ensemble, donning a low-cut short-sleeved blouse that showed off her assets and skin tight jeams.

She carried a white leather bag over her arm as she walked across the road outside the boutique.

A welcome breeze on the hot day blew Ali's long blonde hair around her face and she protected her eyes with a large pair of dark glasses.

It was a rare outing for Ali without her actor-writer husband, Hayes MacArthur, 38, or their children, four-year-old Theodore and baby Vivienne.

She recently admitted to People: 'I gained 55 pounds with both of my babies - it's just how it happens.

'Then it comes off through eating right and my cravings actually become smaller,' she said.

Ali also revealed that she is still working out how to fit her love life, her children and her career into her busy schedule.

Meanwhile, Ali is gearing up for a return to television with a starring role as Crystal McGuire in season two of the TNT series Legends, debuting in August.

The drama follows Sean Bean as Martin Odum, an undercover agent working within the FBI's Division of Covert operations.
