Lions and tigers and dinos, oh my! Uma Thurman wears white as she hosts the launch of children's interactive video games

Uma Thurman would have been easy prey for a wild animal or a stray dinosaur on Thursday.

She stood out in a totally white ensemble as she hosted the launch of Kuato Studios' Dino Tales and Safari Tales, two educational and interactive video games for youngsters at the American Museum of Natural History in New York.

The venue was transformed into a jungle, with green lights accentuating the foliage and blue lights picking out the bones of the massive dinosaurs on display.

All this meant the 45-year-old was definitely not dressed the part, however beautiful her ensemble, with her pale skin, platinum blonde hair and all-white outfit.

She looked chic in a cardigan over a roll neck, which she teamed with ankle-length skinny leg trousers and strappy sandals.

Only a pop of red lipstick added some colour to the actress's face as she sat amid the foliage reading a story from one of the games.

Celebs and their rapt children lounged on plush bean bags to listen to her and watch the animated games on a big screen above her.

Kuato Studios' website described Dino Tales as a chance to 'explore a lush prehistoric island with six adorable baby dinos. 

'Play games, dig for fossils, discover thousands of facts, and ask all-knowing Darwin all your dinosaur questions!

Among celebrities on hand were Laverne Cox, an openly transgender female, who stars in Orange Is The New Black and co-star Dascha Polanco, 33, with her three children.

Laverne, a transgender actress, sizzled in a strapless lBD as she cuddled up to one of the dino characters.

It was a family affair when Dascha Polanco made an appearance at an interactive game launch in New York with her three children. The Orange Is The New Black star donned a Trina Turk top and matching pants.

The Dominican actress teamed her floral print separates with a pair of strappy Calvin Klein sandals.

Dasha looked cute in a colourful playsuit surrounded by her 15-year-old daughter and her two younger siblings.

Meanwhile, celebrity stylist June Ambrose turned up in green with nine-year-old daughter Summer. She also has an 11-year-old son Chance who didn't appear to be part of the fun outing.
