She was unveiled as the new face of Madonna's Material Girl fashion line earlier this week.

So it was no wonder Sofia Richie couldn't keep the smile off her face as she enjoyed a low-key morning stroll with her boyfriend Jake Andrews in West Hollywood on Wednesday.

Grinning from ear-to-ear as she stepped out after landing her first major campaign, the 16-year-old model showed off her naturally striking looks by going make-up free.

The younger sister of Nicole Richie rocked an equally effortless outfit for the stroll in a pair of white Free City sweatpants and a black midi-sleeved tee.

Sofia - who is the daughter of music icon Lionel Richie - finished the style with a pair of navy and white striped sliders and injected a pop of glam with the aid of a Chanel backpack.

Jake also sported a relaxed style in a green Adidas hoody, black tracksuit bottoms and a pair of printed Vans.

She made a super glam appearance as the new face of Madonna's clothing line, Material Girl. But it was back to basics for Sofia Richie when she was spotted with her boyfriend, Jake Andrews, in West Hollywood.

The fresh faced teen donned a long sleeve henley shirt, Free City sweatpants, and a pair of striped slides. The comfy joggers worked perfectly with the young model's relaxed personal style and did me mention how much we adore the graphic sparrow print?

Sofia's outing comes just days after she was unveiled as the face of Madonna's Material Girl range.

Following in the fashionable footsteps of her older sister Nicole, who has cemented her status as a top designer with her boho fashion line, House of Harlow 1960, Sofia has hit the big time as the face of the brand, which the hitmaker created alongside her daughter Lourdes 'Lola' Leon, 18.

The line's colourful new campaign comes as part of its five-year anniversary and Sofia is certainly revelling in the opportunity.

'It's such an honour for me to announce that I'm the new face of Madonna and Lola's Material Girl!' Sofia captioned a photo from the campaign that she posted on Instagram. 'Can't wait to show you the awesome ads we created in NYC.'

Madonna also spoke out about her new choice of spokesmodel, whom she picked personally, saying: 'Sofia Richie perfectly embodies the style and spirit of Material Girl and is the ideal new face for the line.'

Material Girl has been known to feature bold, spunky young women with a unique sense of style in its campaigns, having previously enlisted the faces of Kelly Osbourne, Rita Ora and Zendaya.

This time around, Sofia models crop tops, faux-leather jackets, body-con dresses, and pleated skirts on a fifth birthday party set, complete with a candle-topped birthday cake, presents, and balloons.
