Caitlyn Jenner pictured behind-the-scenes of the ESPYs with her glam squad in new Instagram snap...as social media censors hate-filled comments

It was Caitlyn Jenner's big night as she accepted an award for bravery in her first official public appearance as a transgender woman at the ESPYs.

And the following morning the 65-year-old shared a behind-the-scenes snap of her glam squad as she went under the make-up brush for her big television debut.

The former Olympian captioned the shot: 'Behind the scenes of the most incredible, unforgettable night. It takes a village... #GlamSquad #ESPYs'.

Be a showstopper in a white gown like Caitlyn

Caitlyn Jenner might have skipped the ESPY red carpet, but that doesn't take away her crown for best dressed.

Caitlyn took the stage in a stunning white gown while receiving the Arthur Ashe Courage Award.

Although, her speech was quite memorable and teary-eyed, she made sure not to ruin her bronze make up or get a tear on her breath taking white dress.

If you fell in love with her ethereal wrap gown as much as we did, then why not follow the footsteps of a fashionista and emulate her look?

We found you some sexy alternatives, that will hug those curves but still give you the elegant look like Caitlyn.

In the snap, Caitlyn is wearing the gorgeous white gown she sported for the live TV event as a hairstylist primps her locks and a make-up artist applies the final brush strokes.

And while it has been quite a ride the last few months for Caitlyn it has not all been positive, with many people on social media taking aim at the transgender reality star.

While Laverne Cox praised Caitlyn for her courage and powerful message, Hollywood director Peter Berg was not on the band wagon.

The 51-year-old creator of Friday Night Lights took to his Instagram to share a meme featuring a side-by-side comparison picture of the reality star and an amputee soldier with two artificial legs.

The caption included on the image was certainly controversial as it began: 'One Man traded 2 legs for the freedom of the other to trade 2 balls for 2 boobs.'

Berg later backtracked from his offensive posting, tweeting the following day: 'I have the utmost respect for Caitlyn Jenner and I am a strong supporter of equality and the rights of trans people everywhere.'

It was because of comments like these that it appears Instagram took to censoring all comments and hashtags related to Caitlyn Jenner.

The reason, according to TMZ, is because they were barraged with hate-filled comments and postings that targeted the transgender star.

But nonetheless Caitlyn's acceptance speech appears to have pushed the ESPYs ratings to its greatest heights.

The three-hour telecast surged 253 percent in overnight scores on Wednesday night, making it a ratings success.

And while incredibly moving, Caitlyn told Caitlyn ABC’s Robin Roberts: 'I am just great to be in a position where myself and my family have been so supportive of what is happening. You know, my kids are great.'

'I knew Arthur Ashe and I sat out there in the audience on many an occasion and I thought to myself, "Boy, what if someday I could make a difference in the world and do what I’m doing. I wonder if I will ever get that?"'

She went on to admit that giving the speech 'wasn’t easy.'
