They captivated when they covered a classic Sade song in May.

And on Thursday, Zoe Kravitz and her musician pal Twin Shadow enjoyed a harmonious stroll through Soho in New York City.

The 26-year-old, who was revelling in some leisure time after a gruelling day of filming Allegiant earlier this week, was hard to miss with her very unusual silver leg jewellery.

Zoe had a pep in her step as she breezed through the Big Apple in some impressive platform footwear.

The actress took a sip from her cup of Joe while her musician pal engaged her in a bit of sparkling conversation.

Zoe kept it casual in her black velour dress, while a pair of cat eye sunglasses jazzed up the look.

Twin Shadow - whose real name is George Lewis Jr. - looked edgy in a leather motorcycle jacket, while keeping it comfortable with black sweatpants.

The bearded musician also had his left hand bandaged.

In April, Twin Shadow and his band were traveling through Aurora, Colorado when their tour bus collided into a tractor-trailer.

Zoe has returned to her role as Christina in the upcoming first part of Allegiant, which is scheduled for release on March 18, 2016.

The new movie, directed by Robert Schwentke, picks up where the second left off with Tris questioning the motives of factionless leader Evelyn Johnson (Naomi Watts), who has appointed herself as leader of the city. Tris is then kidnapped by the Allegiant rebels.

Zoe is poised to be a big presence on screen in the coming year.

In addition to a role in Allegiant, she will appear in Viena and the Fantomes, which also stars Dakota Fanning.

The film is set in the 1980's and follows a roadie journeying with a punk band.
