Danielle Lloyd manages to smile through the pain as she carries on with normal life amid ex-boyfriend Tom Jimson's legal woes

She's had a difficult 12 months, following the breakdown of her marriage to Jamie O'Hara amid cheating claims.

Add to that the fact that Danielle Lloyd's now ex-boyfriend Tom Jimson was reportedly arrested over a £100,000 sting, it really hasn't been a great time in her love-life.

But regardless, the 31-year-old glamour model managed to flash her lovely smile as she went food shopping after a visit to the gym in Birmingham on Friday.

Wearing a lurid pink vest top that boasted 'I love Ibiza', the stunning star finished her workout look with a pair of skintight black cropped leggings.

Clearly feeling the pink theme, her trainers were in a neon shade to match the top, as were her reflective sunglasses, no doubt helping to enhance her mood. 

Her long locks were swept back off her face and styled into a chunky plait, an easy 'do for the gym.

As she loaded items from the shop into her trolley, the mother-of-three looked focused on the task at hand, but did show off her huge grin for onlookers.

Earlier this week, it emerged that her long-distance boyfriend was reportedly arrested.  

According to Nick Parker at The Sun, the 23-year-old property developer was arrested in Dubai on Sunday evening, where he is based.

The paper reported that bosses of a property firm accused him of pocketing cash deposits paid for their luxury apartments in the city and faces a substantial jail term if found guilty.

A spokesperson for Danielle Lloyd told MailOnline: 'Danielle has no comment to make save as to confirm that she is not in any relationship with Mr Jimson.' 

A source close to Tom also told The Sun: 'He drove Ferraris and Lamborghinis on nights out at exclusive clubs. But Dani obviously had no idea he had creditors out there baying for his blood.'

Danielle is said to have begun a long-distance relationship with Tom three months after her divorce from footballer Jamie, 28, the father of her three sons was finalised.

He was alleged to have cheated on her.

Three weeks ago, Danielle wrote on her Instagram: 'Awwww thank you so so much my gorgeous @tomjimsondxb for surprising my boys with these quads!!

She accompanied the image with the words: 'Feel sick hardest session with @craig_velocity going to have bum of steal... on it feeling good.' 

Police in Dubai told The Sun earlier this week: 'Tomorrow it will be decided whether there will be a prosecution and a decision will be made on a court date.' 

MailOnline has contacted Dubai police and is awaiting comment. 

Meanwhile, Danielle was recently forced to confirm she was not pregnant after Closer magazine claimed she had a baby on the way.

She added: 'I've been out there a couple of times to see him and he's coming here to see me.

'It's a long-distance relationship and I'm just going with the flow because I have a massive guard up with anyone I meet now. 

'But we get on really well and he's like a friend too. It's very easy. We'll see what happens.'
