Showers, wind and sunshine within the space of a few hours means an unpredictable London summer can be difficult to dress for.

And presenter Kate Garraway seemed to struggle with her seasonal style as she left the ITV studios on Friday.

The 48-year-old Good Morning Britain host was spotted leaving the Southbank site in a trendy jumpsuit, but had ruined the overall look by swamping her figure in an unflattering grey cardigan.

The trendy zip-up cobalt blue number featured detailing on the side pocket as well as a quirky turn-over collar.

Its fitted shape showed off the mum-of-two's toned figure and trim tum to perfection as she strolled from the studios alone clutching a white envelope.

The presenter plumped for a pair of snakeskin print open-toe wedges with a nude sole to add a fun element to the summer vibe.

But the former Strictly Come Dancing star's long-sleeved, knee-length cardigan looked old-fashioned and shrouded her slender frame.

Running errands: Kate was all-smiles as she left work clutching a white envelope after chatting to former JLS star Aston Merrygold earlier that morning

Worn to add a little warmth against the early morning chill, teamed with a pea-green handbag it sent the outfit shooting down in the style stakes.

The blonde's perfectly-coiffed blow dry served to add a little distraction as she gave a cheery smile to onlookers.

While on-screen earlier in the morning Kate, who also presents a daily slot on Smooth Radio, sported a cute formal combination with a ruby red top and knee-length white skirt.

She donned the eye-catching combination alongside co-presenter Ranvir Singh as the pair chatted to former JLS star Aston Merrygold.

And while her off-duty style scuppered the seasonal look, Kate proved her sweetly seductive credentials were spot on during Thursday's Good Morning Britain.

Sporting a pretty tight pink frock Kate dipped her thumb and forefinger into a bowl of honey while chatting to Blur star-turned-cheesemaker Alex James.

As they nattered about TV chef Jamie Oliver's Feastival event in August she sucked on the sweet stuff - much to the amusement of colleague Charlotte Hawkins who was sitting alongside her.

Alex showed his appreciation and quipped: 'Phwoar, that's so sexy.'

Meanwhile the sweet-toothed presenter licked the honey from her hand before telling Alex: 'That is really good.'

The presenter's flirty food habits seemed to mirror those of co-star Susanna Reid, who sent the internet into overdrive when she delicately nibbled old-school favourite Angel Delight live on air earlier this week.

Images of the brunette 44-year-old's finger-licking antics also caused a meltdown on social media site Twitter.
