A winning look! Caitlyn Jenner turns heads in huge hat and printed red dress at Del Mar Racetrack Opening Day after wowing at the ESPYs

Caitlyn Jenner made her first public appearance as a woman at the ESPY Awards on Wednesday, where she delivered a powerful speech while accepting the Arthur Ashe Courage Award.

And the following day the transgender 65-year-old was out again, this time to attend the Del Mar Racetrack Opening Day.

Caitlyn, who is relishing the chance to finally be in the spotlight as her true self, was certainly dressed appropriately for a day at the races.

The Olympian sported a striking hat with a very wide-brim, and teamed it with a pretty red and white wrap dress.

Caitlyn left her legs on show, and also sported a pair of white T-strap sandals with a small heel.

The reality star left her brunette locks loose and styled in curls, completing her look with a black handbag and dark glasses over her perfectly made-up face.

Caitlyn was seen cheering from the sidelines alongside a group of friends as she watched the horse racing.

There was also a camera crew on hand to film the event for her upcoming E! docu-series I Am Cait, which premieres on July 26.

Caitlyn was additionally joined by Joe Harper, who is the president and CEO of Del Mar Thoroughbred Club.

Her outfit on Thursday was another stunning look for the athlete, who had wowed in a white custom Versace creation at the ESPYs the previous evening.

And it's no surprise that Caitlyn was looking so chic - she hired Angelina Jolie's stylist Jen Rade to help pick out her ensemble.

On Thursday morning, the star shared a photo to Twitter which showed her being primped for her big speech by a glam squad, along with the caption: 'Behind the scenes of the most incredible, unforgettable night. It takes a village... #GlamSquad #ESPYs.'

Caitlyn delivered a powerful and inspiring speech during the awards ceremony, in which she thanked her family - including her children, who were sitting in the audience.

She has since been praised by transgender actress Laverne Cox, but sadly not everyone has been so supportive of Caitlyn's transition.

Friday Night Lights creator Peter Berg came under fire for sharing a meme on Instagram featuring a side-by-side comparison picture of the reality star and an amputee soldier with two artificial legs.

The image's controversial caption began: 'One Man traded 2 legs for the freedom of the other to trade 2 balls for 2 boobs.'

The 51-year-old director later backtracked, and tweeted the following day: 'I have the utmost respect for Caitlyn Jenner and I am a strong supporter of equality and the rights of trans people everywhere.'

It was because of comments like these that it appears Instagram took to censoring all comments and hashtags related to Caitlyn Jenner.

The reason, according to TMZ, is because they were barraged with hate-filled comments and postings that targeted the transgender star.

Caitlyn, who has admitted that giving the speech 'wasn't easy', told Robin Roberts - a previous recipient of the award: 'I am just great to be in a position where myself and my family have been so supportive of what is happening. You know, my kids are great.'

'I knew Arthur Ashe and I sat out there in the audience on many an occasion and I thought to myself, "Boy, what if someday I could make a difference in the world and do what I’m doing. I wonder if I will ever get that?"'
