'I was not so crazy about Jon': Paul Rudd recalls how he and Jon Hamm used to compete for girls when they were teenagers 

Paul Rudd recalled how he and Jon Hamm used to compete for girls when they were teenagers on Wednesday's episode of Late Night With Seth Meyers.

46-year-old Paul was a freshman at the University of Kansas when he met 44-year-old Jon, who was a junior at the private John Burroughs high school.

'We both kind of liked the same girl, so I was not so crazy about Jon,' the They Came Together star - rocking a fake moustache - explained.

'I was dating a girl called Sarah in St. Louis and they had [also] dated at one point.'

Hamm - who was 'great at everything' - had a way of boosting Rudd's insecurities during one particular group game of Trivial Pursuit.

'I remember, I would roll and choose [the categories] entertainment or sports,' Paul told the host.

The SAG Award nominee reprised his role as Camp Firewood counselor Andy for the eight-episode prequel series, which is set in New England 1981.
