Amy Schumer says that for the past 11 years of being a professional stand-up comic she's been paid exclusively in pizza.

The comment, of course. was a joke as she continues to promote her new movie Trainwreck which hits theatres this Friday.

The 34-year-old appeared on Live With Kelly And Michael on Thursday morning where she discussed the challenges of attempting to lose weight for the comedic film.

Kelly began by talking about Schumer's success, saying 'you're huge!'

'Can we rephrase that?' the comedienne quipped before marveling over Kelly, a decade older at 44.

'I'm looking at your waist!'

Schumer then sidled up behind the morning show host and compared their relative sizes.

In honor of her new film, Trainwreck, Amy Schumer made and appearance on Kelly & Michael where she discussed her weight loss for the film along with comparing herself to Kelly's frame.

We love both these ladies equally, no comparisons needed! They both looked gorgeous. Amy wore a black leather sleeveless pencil dress, while Kelly chose a purple cap sleeve pencil dress.

While, Kelly tried to convince the audience that she doesn't have a small waist calling it an, "umbrella," she wasn't fooling anyone.

She then went on to say about her career: 'For 11 years I have been on the road telling jokes, getting paid in pizza obviously.'

Schumer also recalled a discussion with producers about her film, where she claims they told her to 'maybe skip a meal'.

'"No more food for you,"' she joked about advice studio execs had given her, before she asked, '"Don't you need food to live?"'

She then claimed, hilariously that they responded by saying, 'no that is a myth!'

The blonde, who has achieved success with her show Inside Amy Schumer, talked about meeting with a trainer.

'He was looking at me like a burn victim. Like, I know there is a person somewhere in there.' 

She then talked about the diet she was given: 'Smoothie for breakfast. Then for lunch you journal about that smoothie.'

'That's the Hollywood secret. Don't eat!'
