She's the proud owner of Victoria's Secret Angel wings and recently took to the stage with best friend Taylor Swift, but Lily Aldridge's career shows no sign of abating.

The catwalk stalwart, 29, has landed herself a high fashion gig as Carolina Herrera's latest campaign star.

Pippa Middleton's favourite designer has collaborated with internationally renowned photographer Mario Testino to create the brand’s first global advertising campaign to showcase fashion, accessories and fragrances.

Speaking about shooting the campaign, Testino, who lensed Kate Moss' wedding, said: 'Doing the Carolina Herrera campaign is really exciting for me in this time in my life - it’s a world I know very well.

't’s a South American world coming to America bringing its culture, tradition, values and sense of family and chic. It’s how South Americans like to be dressed and present themselves, but the ethos really belongs to Carolina Herrera herself.'

The story is set in a refined townhouse, and mother-of-two Lily looks effortlessly elegant in a silk gown as she poses on a bed with male models.

The catwalk queen wore a strikingly similar design by Herrera to the Met Gala this year.

Lily, seen joking around in candid behind-the-scenes snaps, is married to King's Of Leon frontman Caleb Followil and has two children with him

Testino, inspired by heritage and family, enlisted a large cast to capture an authentic 'fashionable' life, embracing style, whimsy and fun, he said.

Carolina added: 'I’ve known Mario for decades and I’m thrilled we finally found the right moment to collaborate. He has an inimitable eye and a shared sensibility.'

Aside from posing in the striking new campaign, Lily, who is married to King's Of Leon frontman Caleb Followil, has been spending plenty of time with close friend Taylor Swift.

Adding another Victoria's Secret Angel to her roster of pals, Taylor and Lily, 29, have grown increasingly close.

At the end of March last year, the two were seen enjoying an afternoon together in New York City, and in November, they took to the stage together for the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.

Lily told Us Weekly: 'We had a little moment at the end of her song Trouble, where we walked in front of the stage together.'

She added: '[Taylor] is one of my best friends, so we had so much fun together.'

Afterward, Taylor shared a Polaroid snapshot of herself backstage, flanked by Lily, Erin Heatherton, and Cara Delevingne, with ‘Best friends forever VS 13’ scrawled at the bottom.'

Apparently, it was thanks to Lily that Taylor landed her role in the show, as Victoria's Secret's chief creative officer Ed Razek revealed in an interview with Women’s Wear Daily. Lily also starred in Taylor's A-list-studded Bad Blood music video.
