What a Scream! David Arquette sports a cast on his arm as he treats daughter Coco, 11, to an ice cream in the sunshine

He's been busy shooting his latest movie with Bruce Willis. 

But David Arquette seemed to be having a ball as he enjoyed a low-key day out in West Hollywood on Thursday, treating his sweet daughter Coco, 11, to a tasty ice cream as they strolled around in the sunshine. 

In spite of his smile, the 43-year-old actor seemed to have suffered an accident of sorts, and was sporting a heavy cast on one arm as he enjoyed a family fun day with Coco, his only child with ex-wife Courteney Cox.

The Scream star - who was married to Courteney Cox for 14 years - looked just like any other father as he treated Coco and her friend to a tasty treat.

Coco was clearly delighted to be spending some quality time with her father as the cute 11-year-old couldn't help but beam as she strolled down the street.

David cut a relaxed figure, opting for a white bowling shirt teamed with some baggy stone chinos - rounding off his look with a pair of red kicks and black framed glasses.

And despite the inconvenient cast on his wrist, the actor appeared to be enjoying every moment of the father-daughter trip.

David who divorced Coco's mother in 2013 recently married his second wife, 34-year-old entertainment journalist Christina McLarty, in April.

The couple have a one-year-old son Charlie together, however, it appears that David had left his tiny tot at home in order to lavish some attention on his eldest child.

But it looks like the pair might have to relish their father-daughter outings while they can.

Not only is the Scream franchise star filming an untitled comedy flick with Die Hard star Bruce Willis, he has four movies in post-production.

Although it's not known what has caused David's injury, it is certainly recent, as he was seen without it on set only last week.
