In one shot he is seen wearing a turtleneck sweater and dinner jacket as he poses in a room with curved walls built from concrete blocks.

Then, in another image, he strikes a serious pose at the camera while wearing a thick wool overcoat.

The British pop star was captured by London-based fashion photographer, Josh Olins.

While it is his first modeling campaign, it isn't Smith's first dalliance with fashion.

He appeared as Vogue's Today I'm Wearing star in April, sharing his outfit choices every day for a month.

During the stint, he modelled looks including Topman skinny jeans, a custom Burberry shirt and a well-cut Emporio Armani cashmere jacket.

The pictures revealed a newfound confidence in his slimline frame, the result of a dietary regime by nutritionist Amelia Freer that helped 'transform' the vocalist's relationship with food.

Thanks to the overhaul - which involved cutting out dairy products and reducing carbs and sugar - Smith managed to lose three stone.

He said of his transformation: 'Amelia Freer has helped me lose over a stone in two weeks and has completely transformed my relationship with food.

'It's not even about weight loss it's about feeling happy in yourself. Love you Amelia & thank you for making me feel so happy inside and out @ameliafreer #eatnourishglow'

The full FW15 Balenciaga men's collection is set to be released soon.
