It's a slam dunk! Isabella Brewster 'expecting second child' with former NBA star husband Baron Davis

It looks like Baron Davis has been keeping busy since his career in the NBA came to a close.

For he it has emerged the one-time New York Knicks star is already expecting his second child Isabella Brewster less than a year after the birth of their first, according to Us Weekly.

The 36-year-old athlete married Isabella, whose sister is Fast And Furious star Jordana, on January 30 last year, and she gave birth to their son seven months later.

The happy news his former Creative Artists Agency agent wife is again expecting was reported by Us Weekly.

Hopefully Baron, who is worth an estimated $60 million, will display the same sort of excitement at becoming a father for a second time.

For when his son was born, he tweeted: 'Sh-t just got REAL!!!!! Wow!!! #BestDayOfMyLife.'

He also shared a picture of his other half, which he captioned 'My SUPER HERO!!!! Words can't explain #bowdown #mostbeautifulestwifeandbestie.'

Los Angeles native Baron, who fulfilled a lifelong dream by playing for the LA Clippers for three seasons earlier in his career, has branched out into the world of showbusiness, and has worked as both an actor and producer.

He has appeared in the likes of 2004 comedy flop The Cookout, as well as appearing as himself in Hot In Cleveland.

Baron also formed a production company called Verso Entertainment with his high school friend Cash Warren, who is best known for being Jessica Alba's husband.

When Baron got married Cash posted a collage of pictures of him and his friend together, and wrote: 'Words can't describe how much this man means to me. My bro since we were 11 years old. We've been through it all together and on this weekend we got to celebrate a new phase in his life - Marriage.'

Former NBA All-Star point guard Baron, who never officially announced his retirement, has not played basketball since he was released by the New York Knicks back in 2012 after he suffered a knee injury. He was trying to make a return to the league as recently as back in February.
