Golden girl! New mum Catherine Tyldesley shows off her trim post-baby curves in a shimmering strapless gown as she hits jewellery party
She has been keeping to a dedicated fitness regime since giving birth to her first child in March.
And all of Catherine Tyldesley's hard work has definitely been paying off as the Coronation Street star showed off her trim post-baby figure at the Goldsmiths Jewellery store relaunch party at Manchester's Trafford Centre on Thursday.
The actress looked stunning in her shimmering strapless dress and plenty of sparkly jewels as she enjoyed the party in her home city,

Catherine, 31, accentuated her slim waist in the gorgeous bespoke gown from her friend Nadine Merabi.

The pale gold number featured a figure-hugging bodice which flowed down into a floaty full-length skirt.
The Corrie star added to the glam vibe with some statement diamonds, including a large pendant and a matching bracelet and earrings.

Catherine finished off her stunning look by styling her blonde locks into loose curls and adding some shimmering gold eyeshadow which perfectly coordinated with her metallic gown.
The actress has been making her way back into the spotlight since the birth of her son Alfie in March, who's dad is Catherine's fiancé Tom Pitford.
As well as making her return to Coronation Street in the coming weeks, Catherine is also venturing into health and fitness.

The actress recently revealed that she worries about celebrity endorsed products and DVDs with no proper expertise and as a result she is now back to school studying fitness and nutrition.
'I have started studying again for my nutrition course, its been on hold since Alfie was born, but as I've said in the past – the more I learn – the more I can share with you guys,' she wrote in a blog post for Hello .
'I think there are far too many people giving out advice that have zero qualifications to do so! I'm amazed at some of the 'advice' I read in magazines/on DVD's.
'One needs to be so careful these days – with countless books and DVDs being endorsed by various familiar faces, its hard to know who actually knows what they're talking about.'
