Heather Mills has claimed she teaches daughter Beatrice the saxophone because her father Sir Paul McCartney 'can't read music'.
The 47-year-old former model, who was married to the Beatles legend for four years before they split in 2008, said she could take the credit for the musical development of 11-year-old Beatrice.
Speaking this weekend, she said: 'I think she's got the best of both of us, we're both very musical. I taught her the saxophone because her father can't read music, so I do all the music teaching.

'And I'm good with languages. She's a brilliant poet so obviously gets that from him.'
She also said that Beatrice shuns fame and would hate to be a pop star like her famous father, telling the Family supplement in the Guardian: 'Beatrice hates fame and the whole limelight thing. She wants to be a marine biologist, not a pop star.'
Sir Paul and John Lennon famously never learned to read music - instead leaving it to George Harrison.

Speaking recently, Sir Paul said he saw reading music as 'homework' when he had piano lessons when he was a lad and hated it.
He said: 'I remember one occasion when John and I were writing and we both said, 'Oh God, we can't notate'.
'Someone said, "But the great Pharaohs never wrote. They had a scribe to write everything down. Me and John thought, 'That'll do us!' So we never tried to learn; instead, George did it for us.'"
