Patrick was dressed in a smart ensemble which comprised of dark jeans, an unbuttoned shirt, a black blazer and black leather shoes.

Sunny looked to have taken style notes from her husband - or vice versa - as she opted for jeans and a smart jacket.

The aspiring singer looked glamorous in a pair of heeled boots, jeans, a plain black top and a black and blue jacquard printed blazer.

Patrick has recently dabbled in music himself, famously reciting pop icon Taylor Swift's lyrics.

Following his best friend Sir Ian McKellen's lead, he posted a link to an upcoming appearance on NPR's on Thursday.

A teaser audio clip featured the Royal Shakespeare Company veteran reciting lyrics from Taylor's hit song Blank Space.

'I get drunk on jealousy / But you'll come back each time you leave / 'Cause darling I'm a nightmare dressed like a daydream,' Patrick said.

The pair's recitals have gone viral and Patrick has personally asked the multi-award-winning star if he and Sir Ian can join her squad which prompted a humorous online exchange between the pair.

'Thanks for reciting my lyrics, @IanMcKellen and @SirPatStew! You've made my day. You two are ULTIMATE Squad Goals,' Taylor tweeted alongside a photo collage of Ian and Patrick together.
