They got engaged onstage at Manchester Arena on Sunday, one year after meeting at the same venue.

And Little Mix's Jesy Nelson and her Rixton fiancé Jake Roche didn't waste any time celebrating the good news, heading straight from the Key 103 Summer Live concert to Jake's mum Coleen Nolan's house.

The happy couple were joined by Jesy's bandmates Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall as they pulled up outside the Loose Woman panellist's home.

Jesy had changed into a simple black vest top and ripped jeans to party with her future mother-in-law, while Jake got the party going in the back of the taxi by sipping on a beer.

The bride-to-be also invited some other family members and singer pal Ella Eyre along to mark the special day with a low-key gathering.

Kind-hearted Jake brought out a Domino's Pizza to waiting fans who was trying to get a glimpse of the newly engaged couple.

The gathering came following a whirlwind day for Jesy, who was surprised by Ed Sheeran serenading her while Jake got down on one knee, before taking to the stage at the Key 103 Summer Live event with the Little Mix girls.

The 24-year-old singer gave it her all at the event, putting on a very energetic performance alongside Perrie, Jade and Leigh-Anne.

All eyes were on Jesy in her bright orange playsuit, which she wore over a low-cut bodysuit featuring a lace trim on the thighs.

She wore a floral scarf tied around her waist and added a pair of fishnets and layered black choker necklaces for a 90s edge.

Jesy showed off her sparkling engagement ring for the first time during the concert as she belted out their new single Black Magic.

The brunette was stunned when the Rixton singer popped the question, comparing the feeling to winning the X Factor in 2011 because it was so surreal.

'I said to the girls, it was weird but it felt like when we won The X Factor, I felt like I wasn't there, it was really strange', she told KEY 103.

Though the singer insists the proposal was a total surprise, she realised what was about to happen as soon as Ed started singing.

'It was all a bit of a blur, we were walking off cos I thought we'd finished soundchecking and then lo and behold, Ed walked out.

'The girls were like, 'Jess, Jess' and I turned round and he sang mine and Jake's song - Tenerife Sea - and as soon as he sung that I just knew, I bawled', she enthused. 'It was all a bit of a blur, I couldn't take it all in.'

And the romantic moment was as much a surprise to the rest of Little Mix as it was to Jesy herself.

Jade commented: 'We had an inkling, but it was just as much of a surprise for us, it was like a movie.'

Her bandmates looked equally focused during their set, with Perrie, 22, donning a pearl-encrusted bustier top and floaty white bloomers.

The girls kept their look cohesive by donning matching military style lace-up boots, a liberal amount of heavy eye make-up and styling their hair down in waves.

Little Mix shared the stage with BRIT Award winners James Bay and Mark Ronson, as well as chart-toppers Mr Probz, Alesha Dixon, Lawson, Stereo Kicks and Ella Eyre.

Rita Ora was supposed to be headlining, but pulled out due to her commitments with the ongoing X Factor auditions.

The girls' performance comes after Jake, 22, popped the question on stage at Manchester Arena on Sunday while Ed Sheeran came out on stage to sing their special song, Tenerife Sea.

Posting a picture on Instagram, Jake wrote: 'A year ago today I met her at Manchester arena, so it was only right, with a little help from my friend, that this happened. Best day of my life.'

The image shows Jake on one knee as he holds out the ring to Jesy, with Ed Sheeran standing off to the side with a guitar and a microphone.

He took to Twitter to praise Ed as he wrote: 'Travelled 5 hours to sing our favourite song on his day off. I will never ever be able to repay you. Love you pal. @edsheeran'.

Following the news, Jesy took to the official Little Mix Twitter and Instagram accounts to share her shock and joy at the proposal.

'I cannot believe what has just happened! The most surreal moment of my life and everyone that I love most was there to share it with us!' she gushed.

'I feel like the luckiest girl in the world rite now literally cannot stop crying! Future Mrs Roche(sic).'

The former X Factor winners headlined Thorpe Park's new music event Island Beats on Friday night, which was the second in a string of late-night gigs, and Jake was there to support Jesy.

An eyewitness said: 'Lots of the Little Mix fans got extremely excited when they realised Jake was in the crowd to support Jesy.

'He looked like a really proud boyfriend when the girls announced that Black Magic had reached Number One.'

Jake had only recently joked that he couldn't afford to propose to Jesy.

He told the Daily Mirror newspaper: 'There are engagement reports but at the minute I can't afford a hot meal, let alone a ring!'

Ed and Jake are good friends after Ed asked Rixton to support him on his US tour.

Me and My Broken Heart singer Jake was stunned when the flame-haired singer got in touch directly with the band to support him in the US.

He recalled: 'Usually when you do these things it has to go through both of your managers ... but Ed literally just sent me a text out of the blue and said 'What are you doing on these dates?'

'And I replied saying we are recording in the studio, then he asked me if we would want to go out there and support him on tour in America. We were like 'yeah of course' and it was just incredible.'

Jesy is the second member of Little Mix to get engaged, after Perrie Edwards became engaged to former One Direction star Zayn Malik in 2013.

Jake and Jesy first went public with their romance in September 2014.

And, although she is currently in the midst of the ultimate romantic moment of her life, it was back to work for Jesy on Sunday evening as she and her Little Mix co-stars performed at the Key 103 Summer Live concert in Manchester.
