Kristen Stewart did not exactly pack light for a flight to Paris on Sunday.

Instead, the 25-year-old actress toted a carry-on bag, an extra jacket, and a guitar through Los Angeles' LAX airport as she headed to her flight.

All of the gear - plus Kristen's casual clothing - indicated that she was very prepared for a long trip to Europe.

Heading out: Kristen Stewart was spotted at the LAX airport on Sunday as she headed to Paris

Her brown hair loose on one side and tied into short braids on the other, Kristen did not seem to be wearing any makeup and hid her eyes with dark sunglasses.

A loose black T-shirt comprised the first layer of her top, with a grey hooded sweatshirt pulled over it for extra warmth.

In case that sweatshirt was not enough, Kristen also carried a denim jacket in her hand - its fabric matched the charcoal skinny jeans the actress wore as trousers.

Casual dresser: Wearing a T-shirt, hooded sweatshirt, and jeans, Kristen was clearly not dressing up for the trip

Black trainers were worn over bare feet, while a black-leather guitar case was slung over one shoulder.

This casual look has become standard for the Twilight star when travelling or spending time with friends or reported girlfriend Alicia Cargile.

Kristen did, however, make herself far more glamorous for a cover story running in Marie Claire's August 15 issue.

She used that interview to set the record straight past scandals - especially the affair with her Snow White And The Huntsman director, Rupert Sanders, in 2012.

'I lit my universe on fire and I watched it burn,' Kristen told the magazine. 'Speaking very candidly, it was a really traumatic period in my early 20s that kick-started something in me that was a bit more feral.'

The affair ended Kristen's relationship with Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson and Rupert's marriage to Liberty Ross.

After briefly rekindling their romance, Kristen and Robert called it quits for good in May 2013.

'I'm really proud that I am able to move forward and not fall into every mental crater,' the actress said of her growth since that time.

'Age has made me smarter and calmer. And it is f***ing awesome.'

Past troubles: In the interview, Kristen explained that she was self-destructive around the time she had an affair with her director

Kristen's career has certainly done well in recent years - in 2014, she delivered critically acclaimed performances in Still Alice and in Clouds Of Sils Maria.

The actress even won France's coveted Cesar award for best supporting actress in the second movie.

Next up for Kristen is the action comedy, American Ultra, which co-stars Jesse Eisenberg and will be released on August 21.
