An Australian rapper has hit back at popular U.S. television presenter Jimmy Fallon who mocked him by releasing a baffling diss-track.

Melbourne based Bangs released the bizarre 'Do Not Watch-Response to Jimmy Fallon' on Sunday, with lyrics such as 'Jimmy Fallon said my song was terrible, you need to fix your hands because your hands look terrible.'

It comes after Fallon featured Bang's 2009 song Take U To Da Movies on his show last Thursday, as part of a segment called Do Not Play These Songs, which encourages his audience seek out but not listen to the records featured.

'Stop, stop, stop. That's terrible.' Fallon said after playing the opening strains of the song on air, leaving his house band The Roots laughing hysterically.

In his recent song Bangs took aim at Fallon's finger- which he injured in a recent fall - as well as accusing him of using a laugh track to simulate an audience for his show.

'I should sue your a** for playing my song at your show, but I'm not doing that because your broken hand looks gross.'

The Sudanese born rapper even takes aim at the presenter's romantic prospects: 'At least I'm taking ladies to the movies – who you taking? Nobody.'

Fallon's first show of the week is recorded on Monday, with speculation arising that he would further the feud on air.
