She may be a Jersey girl, but Lauren Manzo went to New York City to tie the knot this weekend.

The 27-year-old Manzo'd With Children star married her long-time sweetheart, Vito Scalia, at New York's St. Cyril's Church on Saturday.

After the ceremony, the daughter of Real Housewives Of New Jersey's Caroline Manzo headed back home for a reception at the family's The Brownstone Restaurant in Paterson, New Jersey.

Nuptials: Lauren Manzo tied the knot in New York City on Saturday

Lauren told Us Weekly that her wedding turned out to be 'exactly what I always wanted.'

'I just want people to have fun, that's all I want,' she added. 'If I leave my wedding where I had a blast but no one else had fun, I'd end up being sad.'

The blushing bride wore a traditional white gown with fitted bodice with sweetheart neckline.

Lauren's chestnut tresses were pinned into a wavy up-do - but her elegant exterior gave way to a more playful side at the reception when she attempted to smear her new husband's face with wedding cake.

Engaged since November 2013, Lauren and Vito met several years earlier, when her older brother, Albie, attended Fordham University with Vito.

Loved is in the air: Lauren's chestnut tresses were pinned into a wavy up-do - as she kissed her new husband

The bride's mother, Caroline - who starred on the first five seasons of The Real Housewives Of New Jersey before getting her own spinoff with Manzo'd With Children - was clearly thrilled with her daughter's wedding to 'a great guy.'

'I'm excited to see my daughter just start her life,' Caroline told Us Weekly. 'I want her to just embrace this moment and I want to see her really, really shine.'

'That's worth more than anything on the planet, to see your kids truly, truly happy.'

Hot stuff: The bride happily posed with a group of fireman as the reception heated up

Like the rest of her family, Lauren found reality stardom when Manzo'd With Children premiered in 2014.

Her father, Albert, and brothers Albie and Chris star on the show too, while Caroline made her TV debut in 2009 as one of the original New Jersey Real Housewives.

Manzo'd With Children will premiere its second season on Bravo in August - there has been no word about whether the wedding would feature on the show.
