Pumping gas may not be very rock'n'roll, but Megan Fox still used the opportunity to showcase her rock chick style on Saturday.

The 29-year-old paid tribute to one of her favourite bands, The Grateful Dead, with a blue tie-dye T-shirt bearing their name and teddy bear slogan.

Megan was also showcasing her slender legs for the Beverly Hills outing in a pair of skintight black leggings with matching shorts over the top.

The actress looked as though she was heading to or leaving a workout, and sported printed trainers.

Megan wore her wavy brunette hair down, and appeared to be make-up free under her oversized sunglasses.

While the Transformers star was enjoying a day off during the weekend, she has been busy filming the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sequel.

Megan is reprising her role as April O'Neil in the movie, which is titled The Secret Of The Ooze and due for release in June 2016.

The cast and crew will undoubtedly be hoping that the sequel is better received than the 2014 film, which holds a 21% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

However Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles still did well at the box office, with Deadline estimating that it made an $81.3 million profit.

Before the sequel is released next summer, Megan can be seen opposite James Franco, Will Ferrell and Seth Rogen in Zeroville.

The comedy/drama about a young actor arriving in Hollywood in 1969 will hit cinemas later this year.

And when she's not in front of the camera, Megan is busy looking after her young sons, two-year-old Noah and 17-month-old Bodhi, and 13-year-old stepson Kassius with Brian Austin Green, 42.

The famous couple celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary last month. They started dating in 2004 when she was 18 and he was 30, after meeting on set of Hope & Faith, and got engaged two years later.
