Rachel Bilson carries on her post-pregnancy style in striped top and high-waist jeans to attend party with baby Briar

Motherhood seemed to be agreeing with Rachel Bilson on Saturday.

The 33-year-old Hart Of Dixie star looked cool and confident as she juggled wrapped gifts and her nine-month-old daughter, Briar Rose, at a party in Marina del Rey, California.

Rachel's casual clothes and full arms did not stop her from looking her best when she arrived.

Keeping things as practical as possible, Rachel wore a white-and-black striped T-shirt that tied in a bow at her waist.

High-waist, lightly distressed blue jeans served as trousers for The O.C. actress, while her otherwise bare feet were covered by black flats.

After she carried Briar out of the car, Rachel had to go back in order to get an armload of gifts and an over-sized blue handbag.

Without the baby to carry, Rachel literally let her hair down, freeing her brown locks from a messy bun.

Motherhood has been a priority for Rachel recently, especially since her CW TV series, Hart Of Dixie, ended its four-season run in March.

It was still unfortunate that Rachel did not have the help of an extra set of arms for this outing, as Briar's father, Hayden Christiansen, 34, was absent.

The two actors first got together after they co-starred in the 2007 movie, Jumper, and became engaged in 2008.

Although Rachel and the Star Wars actor did split up in 2010, they quickly got back together.

Briar, born in October 2014, is the first child for both parents.

While Hayden was not there to help out his leading ladies, his and Rachel's relationship seemed to be going strong just one day earlier.

Rachel posted a photo to her Instagram account on Friday, showing her and Hayden sharing a kiss, and captioned the image with an emoticon of a heart with an arrow through it.
