She is enjoying a very public romance with Calvin Harris, and Taylor Swift seems be crediting an unlikely matchmaker for her happy relationship.

While comforting a fan on Twitter who claimed to have trouble in his love life, the 25-year-old revealed Lady Gaga had sent her a 'magical spell' to improve her dating fortune.

'Go read Gaga's tweet that she sent me a few months ago. It's good love luck. Because it's not a tweet. It's a magical spell,' Taylor advised Alex Goldschmidt on Friday.

Minutes later, Alex replied: 'You're an angel.'

Back in March, Taylor tweeted to Lady Gaga, who had announced her engagement to Taylor Kinney the previous month: 'Is it just me or is Lady Gaga, like, fully LIVING right now?!? #goals.'

The very next day, the Applause singer responded with the apparent spell: 'Wow you're a sweetheart! Life is friends, family, and love! We all see that in you, your prince charming will come!'

Accompanied with a still from the animated film The Little Mermaid, the hit-maker tweeted: 'I only cast happy spells! Unless there's bad blood. I have a separate cauldron for that. Happy for u.'

Taylor and Calvin have been romantically linked ever since they were seen attending the BRIT Awards in late February.
