After a long day travelling most of us might not feel at our best - but not Lady Gaga, who confidently posed in her underwear.

The 29-year-old singer shared two semi-naked instagram shots on Saturday, posing in a triangle bra and teeny Daisy Dukes.

The star captioned the snaps: 'You know that means, hour 15 of travel means time to get rowdy #monsterstyle' and 'On hour sixteen of traveling from Europe to US with 3-4 more hours to go. time to get rowdy #gypsy #nofilter #unretouched'.

She showed off her toned figure, with her platinum locks pulled back from her contoured cheekbones displayed to full effect.

She started her journey with her a burly bodyguard doing all the heavy lifting when she arrived at the airport in Perugia, Italy, to board a private jet.

The singer was seen walking barefoot across the tarmac in a white T-shirt and those Daisy Dukes while carrying some healthy snacks in plastic containers.

Gaga appeared to be make-up free under her large sunglasses, and tied her platinum blond locks in a fuss-free ponytail.

It was a surprisingly low-key look for the star, who is rarely seen without her platform heels and some kind of wacky ensemble.

As she boarded the plane, her male assistant followed behind carrying a large pillow, a pink piece of luggage and a tote with an Andy Warhol print of Elizabeth Taylor on it.

Gaga was in Italy to perform at the Umbria Jazz Festival with Tony Bennett as part of their Cheek-to-Cheek tour.

The veteran crooner, 88, and the pop star were the highlight of the festival and played to a sell-out crowd on Wednesday night.

And while Bennett played it straight in a jacket and tie, Gaga thrilled the audience with a seemingly endless stream of costume changes.

The hit-maker has been traveling the globe alongside Bennett but the pair are returning to the U.S. for the rest of their tour, which ends in Washington, D.C. on August 1.

But while they may be on the road together, it seems the two travel separately.

Back in the U.S. Gaga will be reunited with fiance Taylor Kinney and will also be promoting her role in the new season of the FX anthology series American Horror Story: Hotel.

The show kicks off in October, but Gaga is already drumming up excitement for it. Earlier this week, she shared a photo of her script, which looked as though it was covered in blood.

It came days after a teaser video gave a first look at the singer 'checking in' to the hotel, showing just a silver gloved hand with talon-like nails ringing a bell on the front desk.
