But it seems Samuel L Jackson prefers the finer things in real life after he was spotted tucking into an ice cream as he sunned himself in Saint-Tropez in France on Sunday.

The cinematic king of cool's tongue was as cold as ice as he enjoyed a sunshine stroll with his sidekick Magic Johnson and his flamboyant Rich Kids Of Beverly Hills star son EJ.

The latter, who has wowed with his amazing weight loss since he had gastric band surgery, certainly looked like he knew what he was doing as he lapped up his tasty treat.

Sam, 66, was looking in great shape for his age in a white T-shirt, basketball shorts, trendy naval shoes and a straw hat.

And it seems he is still quite the gentlemen, as he seemed to offer his other half LaTanya, 65, a lick of his treat.

His 55-year-old cohort Magic, who is worth an estimated $500 million, took his generosity a step further, going as far as buying his wife Earlitha an ice cream of her own.

And the former Los Angeles Lakers point guard was looking athletic for his age in a white T-shirt, sky blue shorts and trainers.

The handsome basketball legend is no doubt as proud as punch that his once roly poly son EJ is literally half the man he used to be after his stunning 180 pound weight-loss.

The fashion blogger has said he transformed his diet by steering clear of alcohol, fried food and high-levels of sugar.

EJ, 23, bragged on the season three finale of Rick Kids Of Beverly Hills earlier this month about how his amazing transformation has made him a completely new man on the dating scene - proudly saying: 'I'm a new bitch.'

'The attention I get from men now is completely different than before,' the slimmed-down star told his sister Elise in the latest episode of the E! Network reality TV show.

'I feel like I definitely don't have to work as hard,' EJ revealed.
