The Torn singer flashed her impressively toned pins in the thigh-skimming skirt as she stomped around on stage in Rome.

Showcasing her newly darkened locks and sweeping feathered fringe, she appeared in fine fettle as she bellowed into the microphone tracks from her yet-to-be-released album Male.

Change is a constant for the actress turned singer and this year is set to bring exciting new horizons as she prepares to release her new album Male next month.

The album will feature covers, which were originally performed and written by men, of tracks by the likes of Daft Punk, The Cure, Cat Stevens, Damien Rice and Tom Petty.

She told Sky News in a statement: 'I love singing. It's not just all my favourite artists; it's some new artists I discovered. It's like a cathartic album.

'I got a lot off my chest and I come out at the end of it feeling strong. I'm really proud of this piece of work. And I'm just excited to share it with my fans.'

Male will be released on August 21 and will accompany her UK tour later this year.

Meanwhile, Natalie relocated to the UK 20 years ago, but seems to be missing home a little recently as she admitted she's planning to buy a property Down Under later this year.

She said: 'It's time for a veggie garden! I've never had my own place here, so it's a new beginning.'

However, the stunner hasn't ruled out staying in the UK either as she told chat show host Paul O'Grady a few months ago that she loves the hustle and bustle of London life.

She explained: 'I absolutely love it. I've got a British passport now and my citizenship.'
