Ashton Kutcher will guest star on new season of ABC's business-themed reality show Shark Tank 

Ashton Kutcher is set to join the Sharks in the Shark Tank in the new season of the ABC reality show.

The 37-year-old actor and entrepreneur will be one of three Guest Sharks to join the series regulars on the show where business owners make a pitch for investment from the self-made millionaires in return for a share of their company.

The two other Guest Sharks announced Monday will be entertainment and tech investor Troy Carter and venture capitalist and former Google executive Chris Sacca.

Now in its seventh season, Shark Tank has made chasing the American Dream a prime time spectacle on ABC, while reruns on CNBC have proved a huge drawn for the financial cable network.

The regular Sharks are Mark Cuban, owner of the Dallas Mavericks, real estate mogul Barbara Corcoran, Lori Greiner, the 'Queen of QVC,' technology innovator Robert Herjavec, fashion and branding expert Daymond John and venture capitalist and 'Mr. Wonderful' Kevin O’Leary.

Kutcher and the other Guest Sharks will appear individually alongside four other Sharks during the upcoming season that premieres on Friday September 25 on ABC.

The Punk'd star, who is currently on honeymoon with wife Mila Kunis and their baby daughter Wyatt, co-created a venture fund, A-Grade Investments, with Ron Burkle and Guy Oseary in 2011. 

Through the fund, he has invested in multiple tech companies including Airbnb, Spotify, Uber, Flipboard, SoundCloud, Foursquare, Shazam and Houzz.

In 2014, Kutcher and Oseary founded Sound Ventures, which has invested in Pager, Handy, Meerkat, Zenefits and Classpass.

Carter founded entertainment company Atom Factory and tech outlet Smashd.co. 

He is scheduled to launch the SMASHD LABS startup accelerator in the fall of 2015, has a portfolio of more than 70 holdings and is the talent manager for John Legend and Meghan Trainor.

Sacca is one of the youngest self-made billionaires in the US and is the founder and chairman of Lowercase Capital.

He made a name as one of the earliest and largest investors in Twitter, Uber, Instagram, and Kickstarter. 

Kutcher's ex wife Demi Moore was in the news on Sunday for having a 21-year-old man found dead in the swimming pool of her $7m Beverly Hills home.

On Monday he was identified as Edenilson Steven Valle.
