She looked ripped on Monday.

But it wasn't Julianne Moore's toned body that caught the eye so much as the torn black T-shirt she was wearing as she strolled around New York.

The 54-year-old's trendy top featured tiny tears around the neckline, along the elbow-length sleeves and down the front plus an asymmetric hemline.

She teamed it with white jeans that had a frayed hemline and comfy black slides with a deep rubber sole.

And on a day when temperatures in the city hit a sizzling 91F, Julianne kept cool in a cream straw fedora hat with a black head band that covered her red hair.

The Oscar-winning actress protected her eyes with a large pair of shades and carried a black backpack as she chatted on her phone via earphones.

Julianne Moore looked worked the off duty cas look in NYC. Can you blame her? The NYC heat is BRUTAL!

Jules wore a fedora and shades to protect her skin, but she did display some rosey cheeks!

Her outfit consisted of a hole detailed shirt, white jeans and black flatform sandals.

Although, she's rocking the off duty look, the pants seem a bit too big for Julianne, they're not baggy enough to call them boyfriend jeans and their not fitted enough to call them skinny or straight fit, it's an awkward fit. Toss the jeans Jules, and opt for some white shorts!

We might not like the jeans but we did love her top. The holes aren't a sign of too much wear and tear, the top actually comes like that.
