'She sounds like she's in great spirits!' Brandi Glanville insists former Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills co-star Kim Richards has NOT vanished

Brandi Glanville has rubbished claims her former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-star Kim Richards has vanished after ‘quitting rehab’ in the middle of the night.

The 42-year-old has spoken out following reports that Kim has been axed from the hugely popular Bravo show after abruptly walking out of the Malibu facility, where she was thought to be receiving treatment for substance abuse issues.

Referring to the alleged incident in her New Weekly column, Brandi insists the former child star – an aunt to socialites Paris and Nicky Hilton – only left the clinic because she had come to the end of her stay.

‘I spoke to Kim – she just got out of rehab,’ she claims. ‘She sounds like she’s in great spirits. She's just trying to find a place to live and move forward with her acting.'

But separate sources say the 50-year-old has skipped numerous outpatient sessions since returning home last week.

‘Kim has not been doing her outpatient therapy,’ said one insider. ‘She has already missed four sessions.'

TMZ claimed Kim's five-year association with Real Housewives of Beverly Hills had come to an end following her reported disappearance.

She will not be a full, part-time, or cast member of any kind according to a Wednesday report from the website.

The gossip site reports that they have scraped her from the show entirely and won't even be an omnipresent 'friend of the show.'

The troubled star originally checked into rehab after her April arrest for public intoxication and battery but left to attend daughter Brooke's wedding in May, but checked herself back into a different rehab facility when she subsequently fell off the wagon.

According to TMZ she was under the influence of either drugs or alcohol at the event in Mexico, where she reportedly got angry with her daughter and insulted the groom's family.

The reality star was reportedly not getting along with staff, including doctors, so packed her bags and left the facility in the middle of the night over the weekend.

The move came as most of her family was in Europe for Nicky Hilton's wedding to James Rothchild.
