He wowed fans after revealing he had lost an impressive 14lb in 14 days earlier this year.

And Sam Smith showed that he has managed to keep the weight off as he was spotted out and about at Soho House in Miami Beach on Sunday.

The superstar singer kept his body under wraps in a black top and blue shorts as he made his way around the beach, stopping to sign a few autographs for fans.

The 23-year-old completed his look with black shades and suede slip ons as he took to Instagram to share with fans about his day out.

He captioned one snap saying, ‘I am completely and utterly in love right now with Miami’, while he playfully joke about his sensitive skin in another.

Showing off his sunburn, he said: ‘The sun burn is REAL right now #tooenglish’.

Sam has had a busy year: as well as sweeping the board at various awards shows, picking up four Grammys, two BRITs and three Billboard Music Awards, he was struck down with a serious throat injury.

He suffered with a hemorrhage on his vocal cords, leaving him unable to speak or sing and meaning he had to undergo serious surgery to get himself back on track.

In April he was forced to cancel the remainer of his Australian tour while he recovered, but he has since rescheduled the dates after making a full recovery.

As well as his incredible professional success, he's absolutely thrilled with his lifestyle overhaul which has seen him shed a stone in weight in a very small time frame. 

A slimmer Sam took to Instagram to credit nutritionist Amelia Freer with his dramatic drop, calling her book Eat. Nourish. Glow 'incredible'.

Brandishing the book in a picture on his Instagram page, Sam said: 'Three weeks ago I met a woman who has completely changed my life. Amelia Freer has helped me lose over a stone in 2 weeks and has completely transformed my relationship with food.'
