'I've had this ring forever!' Eva Longoria insists she is NOT marrying Jose Baston... after gold band sparks engagement rumours
She sparked engagement rumours when she stepped out flashing a diamond sparkler on her wedding finger while in Sydney with boyfriend Jose Baston.
But American actress Eva Longoria was quick to pour cold water on speculation, while being interviewed for Australian breakfast show Kyle and Jackie O on Tuesday.
The 40-year-old dismissed conjecture that the pair are gearing up to marry, pointing to the band in question and saying, 'This is this ring, I've had this ring forever.'

Denying that the ring was a sign of a future walk up the aisle, the former Desperate Housewives star revealed the jewelry is a piece by one of her favourite U.S designers.
'This is just a Martin Catz band that I move hands depending on my swelling,' she said on Tuesday, eliciting laughs from the show's co hosts Kyle Sandilands and Jackie 'O' Henderson.
'I move fingers, I do, that's what happens it used to be for this finger, but I must have gained weight so I put it on this hand,' she quipped.

The raven-haired beauty set tongues wagging when she wore the ring as she dined at Catalina restaurant in Rose Bay with her Mexican businessman beau the day before.
The pair, who have been dating for two years, arrived in Sydney International Airport on Monday ahead of Eva's ambassador duties for Specsavers.

Twice married Eva has had a famously chequered love life splitting from former husband French basketball player Tony Parker, 33, in 2011 amid rumours of affairs.
Prior to that she married fellow Young & the Restless actor Tyler Christopher, 42, from 2002 to 2004 but now ruefully says she was 'too young' to know what she was doing.
She was linked to 'N Sync's JC Chasez and Stephen Kay in 2004.
After her marriage to Parker collapsed, she was linked to Eduardo Cruz, 30, Penelope Cruz's younger brother, a romance that was briefly rekindled in 2013.

She and American footballer Mark Sanchez confirmed they were dating in 2012 and although she shot down rumors of a romance with Ready for Love contestant Ernesto Arguello, they later admitted their love before calling it quits in August 2013.
But despite her turmoil, Eva has never given up on love.
Earlier this month she told Daily Mail Australia that her newfound glow at 40 was attributed to finding true love with Jose.
'I'm truly in love, mostly... every moment we get to spend together is a blessing.
'People want a secret to looking good, but there isn't one. I'm in love, that has a lot to do with it. I take good care of myself, it's no secret, I eat a healthy diet and I exercise.'
