'I really did have sex with them!' Amy Schumer and Bill Hader joke about her controversial GQ Star Wars spread...as the Trainwreck star says she'd do it again

Amy Schumer's GQ spread caused controversy among Star Wars fans when the comedy star was pictured topless alongside robots R2-D2 and C-3PO.

However, funnywoman has no regrets - and admits she would do it again in a heartbeat.

Talking to 2DayFM's Dan & Maz show on Monday, the Trainwreck starlet even joked, 'I really did have sex with them!'

Her co-star Bill Hader then jumped in, saying: 'It's weird that that's not what they were upset about'.

With fans outraged by the innuendo in the spread, Disney and LucasFilm -owners of the iconic franchise- were quick to mention they did not authorise or condone the racy magazine shoot.

But actor Mark Hamill, who played Luke Skywalker got a kick out of it, telling fans on Twitter: 'Got excited when I saw @amyschumer @GQMagazine pics & thought she was just cast in Ep 8! We should be so lucky.'

Amy and Bill, who are in Australia to promote new movie Trainwreck, then played along at the end of the radio interview as co-host Dan Debuf asked them to up the ante and 'inflame J.K Rowling' next, to add to the list of people they had offended.

The radio star then mock-demanded the duo take the supplied props put in front of them at that moment for an impromptu, risque Harry Potter-themed photo shoot.

'You don't need to demand it, I insist,' Amy said, while Bill added: 'J.K Rowling seems pretty chilled'.

Dressing up during an on-air break, they then posed for a series of shots, with Bill in the background using his black hoodie on his head to create a black cloak and giving the camera a steely stare.

Amy stood front and centre with a wooden broomstick between her legs, while wearing a hat, glasses and scarf in Harry Potter style.

In one shot, co-host Maz Compton posed as if she was sticking her broomstick into Amy's backside, while the comedian played along.

Ahead of the pair's Trainwreck premiere on Monday evening, they also enjoyed another photo opportunity - this time with the local wildlife.

Amy appeared to be excited as she got up-close-and-personal with a koala, posting an Instagram shot showing her beside the native Australian animal on Sunday.

Meanwhile the raunchy rom-com has had a strong opening weekend at the US box office, raking in US$30.2 million, earning it third place behind action movie Ant-Man and animated flick Minions.

Strap up in Amy's triple strap heels

She's been walking the red carpet for her new film Trainwreck recently, and when it comes to fashion Amy is definitely no wreck. She's been cutting quite the stylish figure lately, and this outfit for the New York premiere is no different.

Keeping it chic in all black, Amy teamed her low cut figure hugging dress with a pair of seriously lust worthy Gianvito Rossi strappy sandals and we're majorly coveting these babies.

The triple strap, the high stiletto heel, the gorgeous curve - these shoes are the epitome of sexy stems. Luckily if you're after the designer pair for yourself you can bag them at Barney's right now by clicking the link to the right, although be prepared to part with a fair bit of cash to do so.

For a more affordable alternative, you can still get that sultry look with a pair of the below high street options, which will look just as gorgeous on. Choose from a high fashion splurge at Christopher Kane to a half multi strap version at BCBG.
