She's been living it up on the Italian island of Ischia all week.

And Trudie Styler was enjoying a quiet Sunday afternoon, sunning herself by the sea during a family holiday to the peaceful holiday destination.

Sting's wife proved she's still fabulous at 61, looking fantastic in a bright blue swimsuit that showed off her toned physique, as she chatted to her 24-year-old daughter Eliot.

Fabulous as ever: Trudie Styler showcased her long and lean physique in a bold blue swimsuit as she holidayed in Ischia, Italy on Sunday

Trudie made the most of her youthful figure in the plunging number, boasting ruched gathering at the bust and an athletic cut.

She shielded her eyes from the sun behind a pair of shades and wore her blonde bob slicked back from her face with water.

The star was spotted jumping into the sea for a quick swim before joining her daughter Eliot under a parasol.

The brunette, who fronts indie band I Blame Coco, kept covered up in a black T-shirt and baggy matching shorts as she relaxed in the shade.

Trudie was spotted chatting on the phone as she took some time off from her endless schedule of charity galas.

The previous evening, the showbiz matriarch got glammed up in an emerald green, strapless gown to attend another event as part of the Ischia Global Festival.

Trudie and Sting have been together for over 30 years, but the pair are more in love than ever, revealing in a recent interview with MailOnline that they always make time for each other and are the best of friends.

'There's no secret, we're just lucky,' Sting said of their union. 'We like each other actually. I don't know how we stay so connected, we just are.'

The pair will have to cope with the distance when the musician embarks on his European tour, but Trudie says she's unfazed by the challenge.

'We will still see a lot of one another. It's something we're so used to. It works like that', she said.
