She is officially off the market after tying the knot with banking heir James Rothschild at Kensington Palace last Friday.

And already Nicky Hilton is celebrating a milestone in her new marriage.

In honour of their one week wedding anniversary, the 31-year-old shared an intimate photo of herself kissing her new husband shortly following their nuptials on Instagram.

In the touching photo, Nicky lovingly embraced and locked lips with the handsome groom, who was sharply dressed in his crisp black suit.

While Nicky trained her eyes on James, doubtless all the attention was turned on Nicky in her £50,000 Valentino couture dress.

In fact, a bridesmaid ensured Nicky's dress remained in pristine condition as she lifted the train of the gown off the ground.

That day, a host of guests that included Paris Hilton and Chelsea Clinton watched as Nicky exchanged vows with James, who she had been dating ever since meeting at Petra Ecclestone and James Stunt's Italy wedding in 2011.

The couple's engagement was announced last summer in August 2014.

Paris also found time to praise the couple to New You Magazine.

Prior to their wedding, Nicky recalled how their low-key personalities made them such a great match.
