The glamorous grandmother-to-be of Louis Tomlinson's baby is a former bikini model and actress who once starred in Baywatch, Daily Mail Online can reveal.

Tammi Jungwirth, 47, bared her beach body in a 1997 episode when she played a young starlet being pushed around by a sleazy photographer. 

The fleeting TV appearance was one of a number of minor film and modeling roles she landed thanks to what one former flame described as her 'amazing body'. 

Mum-of-two Tammi, still slim, blonde and looking years younger than her age, is said to be 'bursting with pride' that daughter Briana, 23, is expecting a baby with One Direction star Louis.

The singer, 23, is paying for stylist Briana to hide away in a five-star hotel while Tammi and her partner Brett Clark have fled their Calabasas home to escape the spotlight. 

Ironically, Tammi played a young model being by a bossy British photographer in her brief appearance in the 1997 Baywatch episode 'Heal the Bay.' 

The photographer berates his young subjects in the funny scene, telling them: 'Come on give me attitude, major attitude - I want tiger shark not halibut.' 

Aspiring actress Tammi pulls a number of sexy poses in a skimpy pink and yellow bikini before delivering her line: 'I'm hungry, when are we going to break for lunch?' 

Her co-stars in the mocked-up shoot were all relative unknowns apart from a male model who went on make headlines because he was brutally murdered a year later. 

Hunky Cassidy Chytraus had just filmed a TV commercial for perfume giant Estee Lauder alongside Liz Hurley when he was stabbed to death outside a bar in April 1998. 

Hurley was among those who paid tribute to Chytraus, telling reporters: 'He was just so enchanting. He was really, really good looking and had everything going for him.'

Tammi, meanwhile, posed for magazines and enjoyed a string of minor roles before her showbiz career petered out. 

It's thought she was in Baywatch on several more occasion but in smaller, non-speaking parts that don't appear in the show's credits. 

Tammi split from Briana's father Jungwirth, 56, when her daughter was ten before starting a relationship with LA nightclub boss Danny Fitzgerald. 

'We were together ten years.' Danny, 55, told Daily Mail Online. 'She was a regular in Baywatch. She used to model mainly.

'I met her when Briana was about two years old. I asked Tammi out and she agreed so long as I paid for the babysitter. 

'I raised Briana for ten years. She was the sweetest, best little girl ever. She'll make a great mom and Tammi will be the best grandmother ever. 

'She loves kids, that was our problem. I was too wild and she was too normal. She is still super pretty and she has an amazing body.' 

Daily Mail Online revealed Wednesday how Tammi met Tomlinson's mother Johannah Deakin when she flew to the States to meet Briana for the first time. 

Deakin – who has seven children including Louis as well as one-year-old twins – traveled to California with her husband Dan and both sets of parents attended Briana's most recent ob-gyn appointment in Los Angeles.

After looking at the ultrasound together and hearing the baby's heartbeat, they were said to be 'getting on great' according to family sources. 

Tomlinson has not commented publicly since news of the pregnancy shocked ID worldwide legion of fans. 

A mutual friend of the pair insists that while they aren't in a relationship, the singer will be a 'hands-on dad' when their baby arrives early next year. 

The two were introduced through mutual friends a few months ago following Louis' split from his long-term girlfriend Eleanor Calder in March.
