'The stocks are about to plummet': Amy Schumer explains why she posed topless as Princess Leia while she continues to show off curves in busty white gown at premiere

She caused controversy when she posed topless for the latest GQ as Princess Leia.

But Amy Schumer says she has no regrets about the racy shoot because she wanted to capture her best assets before they head south.

The comedienne, 34, told Daily Mail Australia at the Sydney premiere of her new movie Trainwreck: 'The stock's about to plummet so let's capture it now.'

But despite Disney and Lucasfilm hitting out at the funnywoman because they didn’t pre-approve the shots of her with two of the franchise's most famous characters, R2-D2 and C-3PO, she’s as proud as punch of the snaps.

'I have no regrets, are you insane? Not one... In fact it was my idea,' she said.

When asked if she would consider more nude shoots, she said: 'Of course I'll do it again... Get it in now while I can.'

And in rainy Sydney on a winter’s Monday night, the American actress had no qualms flashing her décolletage in a figure-hugging white dress slashed at the front.

Proving she’s certainly no trainwreck, she teetered around in lace up black heels, parading her womanly curves and tossed her single loose braid to one side.

Wearing a dusting of glitter around her eyes and a slick of colour on her mouth, she twisted and twirled as flashbulbs popped.

Steal Amy's style in Halston Heritage

No vision of a 'Trainwreck' here, Amy is truly a vision in white!

The wonderful thing about Amy's sartorial choices is that often she wears pieces from the high market like this glamorous alabaster white Halston gown for instance.

The comedienne chose an elegant slim fitting column silhouette that revealed her killer legs and lengthened her figure. With a peep of decolletage, it's clear that this gown is flattering for us normal figured, non- model girls. Which is great because who really looks like Kendall Jenner anyways?

And while this funny girl on the brink of international stardom looks utterly stunning, the good news is that we can too! With a few clicks to your right, you can buy this piece from Bloomingdales.

PHEW! Because at first glace, we thought this dignified design in that porcelain color had us thinking she was wearing a made to measure Atelier Versace.

Amy is starring in romcom Trainwreck opposite former SNL star Bill Hader and wrote the screenplay.

'I can't believe I wrote it, it's so surreal to be here, in another country, to be here premiering it,' she told DMA.

The movie sees Amy play a commitment-phobic career woman who faces her fear when she meets a doctor, played by Bill, who has no defects she can use to justify a breakup.
