'If anything, I found it liberating': Escorts reveal what their jobs are REALLY like on anonymous confessions app

When it comes to undesirable careers, working as an escort is often considered to be of the most taboo occupations of them all.
However, men and women from around the world have taken to an anonymous secret-sharing app to reveal that their job doesn't always deserve its bad reputation.
In posts released by Whisper, users are able to rule out any judgement from others by remaining anonymous allowing people to share their experience of working in the industry.

The non-censored posts encouraged honest and surprising admissions with many admitting that actually they really enjoyed their job and some even confessing that they had developed feelings for their clients.
One user explained that despite her efforts she couldn't communicate to her client that she wanted a relationship.
She wrote: 'I'm an escort, I've been hinting to a client that I have a crush on him. He's either clueless or thinks I'm full of sh**'
Another added: 'Sometimes it's really hard separating work and private life. I work as an escort and I really like one of my regular clients.'
Many of those who made admissions said that they had a high level of job satisfaction working as an escort
Some even confessed developing feelings for their clients was a harder side to the job
Despite the stigmas that often surround this line of work several admissions saw escorts explaining how rewarding their job was.
In one poignant post a user said: 'I'm an escort. Once a regular told me that I helped save his life just by listening. I love my job.'
Another said: 'I'm an escort alongside my day job. I earn £600 an and I feel no shame at all. I sometimes prefer it to my corporate job.'
In another post a user said: 'I worked as an escort. It was neither demeaning nor morally reprehensible. If anything I found it liberating.'

A number of students revealed that they had resorted to escorting to cover the costs of their education
Although many expressed a high level of job satisfaction for many of the escorts who submitted confessions, they had no other option due to financial difficulty.
A number of students revealed that they had resorted to escorting to cover the escalating costs of their education.
One user wrote: 'My secret: I'm working as an escort to get through college. I'm not proud of it. I just need the money.'
As the app allows users to remain completely anonymous the admissions wrote frank and honest posts
Some users reported that working as an escort could cause problems finding love
Another expressed concerns that their decision to escort would affect their future writing: 'I worked as an escort to pay for my undergraduate degree and now I am afraid the med school I was accepted to will kick me out if they find out.'
Despite the fact that many admissions revealed that many escorts were happy with their occupation some users confessed that they were deeply unhappy with their lifestyle.
'I'm an escort (prostitute) and my parents think I'm a cocktail waitress. I hate being an escort, it's degrading, sick and disgusting but I make £5,000 a week. I want to get out of the lifestyle,' admitted one user.
For several of those who made confessions escorting was a last resort during financial difficulties
However there was an overwhelming amount of escorts who were proud of their line of work
